This work feels like a foundational piece of wellness and overall health that I feel has long been missing from the medical conversation. I love how it is based in the science of how we function- it is very practical, very direct. I’ve witnessed its effectiveness with my patients. These are places that I don’t think traditional medicine or mental health has succeeded in reaching, and I find this work extremely inspiring and hopeful in its implications for healing. Applied Mindfulness does awesome work.

I am writing to share my own as well as the After School Program Leaders appreciation for your time and effort in training us in the art of ‘applying mindfulness’ to our everyday work and existence. The trainings have helped transform our current mindsets and behaviors when working in stressful environments and with challenging populations. We have gained a sense of empowerment through learning techniques and tools to help ourselves and those around us live healthier, happier and less stressful lives. Your guidance has opened our eyes to the vital connection between our physical bodies, emotions, intelligence and that of our responses to life’s everyday demands and stressors.
