Our objective in the academy is train exceptional facilitators, fluent in the dynamics of facilitating a room- be it filled with children, or doctors (some of the same skills required, some different), as well as to develop facilitators with effortless conceptual fluency in the critical pedagogy behind the work: the theoretical models, the applied neurophysiology, and all of the relevant studies. Although our work goes beyond science, it is always grounded in cutting-edge and evidence-based practices, many of them millenia old.

As a facilitator you will reflect on Preparing Environments, Creating Safety, Introducing Mindfulness, Conceptual Frameworks including: Evolved Developmental Niche (text: Narvaez), Towards Psychologies of Liberation (text: Watkins and Shulman), Neuroplasticity, Stress Physiology, Applied Neurophysiology, Autonomic Nervous System physiology, Triune Brain Theory (text: Maclean), James-Lange Theory of Emotion, The Felt Sense (text: Gendlin), Polyvagal Theory (text: Porges), Trauma First-Aid, Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness (text: Treleavan), Habit Transformation (Fogg), Behavior Design (Bobinet), Authentic Facilitation, Group Facilitation & Relational Mindfulness, Relating Across Difference, Unlearning Racism (Lee), Restorative Practices: Internal, Relational, Nature Awareness, Creativity, Narrative.
